"Let them eat cake!", spat Queen Marie Antoinette. Words that fuelled the peasants' fury during the 18th century French Revolution. ⛏

300 years later, a different revolution brewed—our growling tummies and tired feet from the Palace day tour.

Weary, Mica and I heeded Marie Antoinette's call and sat at Angelina Tea Room for divine cakes and tea.🍰☕

Here is a tablescape from the patisserie. Although the tea room was quite luxurious and elegant, my painting captured more of the rustic charm of the French country life and sweet joys. Icing colors, texture of pastries and the warmth of cakes coming out of the oven. Perhaps I empathised with the 18th century baker who whipped up the gateaus. Or the commoner back then, bite after bite, tried to understand what exactly her Queen meant. ☕ ✈

Infused with the magic of Tunis Village, Fayoum

Painted in Egypt

Yalla Bina and Allahn were painted in Tunis Village and are currently at the Arseneo Gallery, Fayoum, Egypt.

Art Gone Green.

I champion sustainability and enjoy giving new life to pre-loved things.

My canvases are of recycled vinyl canvas wallcoverings from my previous company's projects. It’s satisfying to give things a second-life.

That said, I support workshops that help create new skill sets for the youth. It's life-uplifting, and transformative, just like my art.
